Sustainable Energy in East Brighton

Our team carried out an installation in Brighton. The project involved a significant installation to enhance the solar power system for a residential property. Our goal was to expand the existing solar panel system, optimise its performance, and integrate additional functionalities to meet the customer's energy needs.

The customer had an existing 8-panel solar system, which our team aimed to increase with an additional 20 panels. This expansion would significantly increase the system's capacity, contributing to a more sustainable and energy-efficient home. Despite the chilly weather, the rooftop showed a breathtaking view of the sea, which our team loved!

To accommodate the new panels, we upgraded the inverter to a SolaX Power X3 G4 12kW Hybrid inverter. This choice was made to increase its peak efficiency, supporting the customer's requirements for reliable solar energy utilisation. Additionally, we installed 11.6kWs of battery storage, enhancing the system's ability to store surplus energy for later use and improving overall energy management.

We also integrated a myenergi Zappi EV charger into the setup. By incorporating an EV charger into the solar power system, the customer could further reduce their carbon footprint while enjoying the convenience of charging their vehicle at home.

The customer was pleased with the results. The expanded solar panel system, coupled with the upgraded inverter, battery storage, and EV charger, provided a sustainable energy solution with a total system capacity of 11.9kW.
