Commercial challenge

A commercial business in Burgess Hill, West Sussex wanted to reduce its reliance on grid electricity, manage long-term energy costs and support its environmental commitments.

DW Energy assessed the property and designed a commercial solar PV system around the available roof space and the business’s energy requirements.

System specification

The completed 31.68kWp commercial solar installation comprises:

• 72 Jinko 440W solar panels
• One SolaX Power X3 Pro 25kW inverter
• Roof-mounted solar PV equipment and electrical controls

Installation approach

The solar panels were positioned across the highest available section of the commercial roof to make effective use of the space and sunlight.

The DW Energy team installed the mounting system, panels, inverter and associated electrical equipment to create a complete on-site solar generation system.

Outcome

The completed system now generates renewable electricity at the Burgess Hill property, reducing the amount of energy the business needs to draw from the grid.

This supports the client’s long-term energy-cost and carbon-reduction objectives. No specific financial or generation figures are available yet, so I’ve avoided claiming measured savings.
