Grants

Eligible UK businesses, charities, public sector organisations and small accommodation businesses can apply for support through the Workplace Charging Scheme. The scheme covers up to 75% of the total purchase and installation costs of EV chargepoints, capped at £500 per socket and up to 40 sockets across all sites per applicant. This means eligible applicants could receive up to £20,000 towards workplace EV charging.

Own the property or have consent from the landlord for charge points to be installed at each site
Have the site surveyed by an authorised installer before applying
Be able to provide evidence that the parking is for staff or fleet use, unless applying as a public authority, charity or small accommodation business

The Workplace Charging Scheme is currently open until 31 March 2027. The government reserves the right to end or change the grant scheme, so it is worth checking eligibility before arranging your installation.
